TIM OAKES

Tim Oakes is an extraordinary man and an extra-ordinary storyteller. Liverpool, Ireland and Wales have been his playground and his inspiration. He was a big hit at this year's Storytellers Hiring Fair and tonight he is our special guest.

He tells traditional stories from the old Celtic traditions of North West Europe, plus some mystical and magical ones He have discovered from the Welsh borders, and the odd wonderful saga from the lands around the Baltic Sea. Obsessed with mystical animals, He also has a whole menagerie of tales about fabulous creatures. (When I hear hooves I don't think 'Zebras!' - I think 'Unicorns!…')
