Sam Cannarozzi

Sam Cannarozzi

"Sam yada Cannarozzi, through the marriage of words and gestures, makes contact with that part of childhood that resides in each of us."

East of Birmingham

A poor couple cannot have any children. In searching for a solution the husband meets Jaffar, himself in search of wisdom.  And so begins a quest in the Orient of story.  Arab North Africa as well as Pakistan step up to meet you.  But be careful: genies!  Sam’s performances have a sensitivity to all cultures and a totally sensorial approach to story - you can find in his stories - tastes, scents, foreign languages, pictures, objects, fabrics, gestures, colors, sounds and music.

Join us for an intimate evening as American Storyteller Sam Cannarozzi tells stories. Lend him your ears and he promises to hand them back full to overflowing and embellished.
