Peak District Storywalking Festival 2007
Old Tales in the Ancient WoodsAn afternoon storywalk through the oak woodlands of Padley Gorge and Longshaw Estates, led by Simon Atherton and Adrian Tissier. A mysterious collection of stories will be told along the route of the walk, some of them as old as the ancient trees themselves.
Meeting at Longshaw Visitor Centre (National Trust) (map ref SK265799).
Parking at Woodcroft Car park,
signed from the A6187 Sheffield-Hathersage road, near Foxhouse Inn. £3 (National Trust members free)
