Twilight in Dovedale
2-3 miles

An evening walk along the River Dove with popular Derbyshire storyteller Graham Langley, stopping for stories along the way and returning to Milldale as darkness closes in. This is an easy path with two styles and suitable for all ages.

Starting point: Milldale Car Park, on edge of village. Grid reference SK136548

From Ashbourne – follow A515 north towards Buxton , for about 6 miles. Turn left towards Alstonefield. After 1 mile after downhill, turn left to Milldale, Road goes sharp right in group of buildings – CARE narrow! Go straight on at junction right in 50 yards. Car park is on right in 200 yards.

From Buxton – follow A515 south towards Ashbourne, for about 16 miles. Turn right towards Alstonefield, then follow same instructions as above
