Chatsworth Park StorywalkStarting from Calton Lees car park, stories as you walk around Chatsworth Park, led by Roy Dyson
A walk along the river, an ascent of the ridge behind Chatsworth House, passage along woodland tracks and paths and a descent over rough ground.
Level walking along river, steep ascent via stone steps (an alternative more gentle route is available), level walking through woods along paths and tracks, gentle descent over rough ground traversing a couple of stiles. Public toilets and refreshments at Calton Lees Car Park and Chatsworth House.
Stops will be made at appropriate intervals to tell stories with Derbyshire or other suitable connections (mainly traditional folk tales and fairy stories).

From Rowsley: Take B6012 north Car park on left, 1.5 miles after bridge across river.
From Baslow: Take B6012 south. Car Park on right in 2 miles
